I may be the only one, but I got no idea what big mac sauce tastes or looks like..

You aren't missing anything. But I have no idea if you have ever heard of Thousand Island dressing (vile), but it tastes about the same. IMO, it's nasty and I have no idea how either the big Mac or Thousand Island dressing still exist.

I hope this isn’t one of those cases where outsiders like us can’t tell the difference, but the locals are fiercely protective about them.

I can't tell you what anything from there tastes like except for the bottled water and a coffee that didn't make it to second taste.

I've been eating pickles with almost every meal. But the same ones as I made a big big batch.
I wanted to enter banh mi, but I got no rolls and I'll be away from home for a couple of days
So maybe someone else can make some and enter?

EDIT: it’s been a while since I’ve been genuinely excited about cooking something. I think I’m rounding the corner on the road back to loving cooking.
