Sideline. I have flown a lot and only once have I questioned my decision. Descending into St Lucia on a BA flight we hit wind shear and the aircraft dropped. The cabin crew screamed, that's how good it was.
I remember a connecting flight in Northern Ontario for a fishing trip we took. A 10 passenger twin prop high wing aircraft and waiting for the pilot by the plane on the tarmac. He comes walking out to the plane with a litre of oil under his arm and stashes it under his seat before we board. Later watching out the window, nthe starboard engine was spewing oil all over it's engine cover. lol

It was only a light drizzle when we left but then it poured down got a bit soggy but managed 2.63 miles.

Ok glad to hear it, but yeah definitely bad news for those affected

It can be frustrating when warnings are put out and roads blocked, people ignore, get stuck then expect to be rescued. Yes it is funny to see these idiots get stuck, yes it is good that it keeps people in employment but still....

Went out and got paint samples today, for the third or fourth time, MrsT keeps changing her mind, so I laid it down and said to get it picked out, because I’m painting the kitchen when she’s out of town in a couple of weeks, one way or the other.

Funny/sad little side thing: we stopped at McD’s for lunch because she’s collecting those Happy Meal Stitch dolls. We ordered, she sat down, and while I waited for the food.

The couple in front of me got their food, and as soon as the worker turned her back, they both crammed handfuls of French fries in their faces, then when the worker came back with our food, they said the fries were only half-filled and wanted more! 🤨

Wow, that's pathetic. I stuff the fries in my jacket pocket.

A fair number of our family work in child care inn one for or another (from head teacher to teacher to special needs assistant to social worker in children's home) so most of them have had it more than once now. One of them 3 times... It makes me glad I no longer work in a boarding school to be brutally honest.

Getting ready for the move which will be tomorrow :dance:I already painted the walls in the living room and bedroom. Packed my entire house too. The new house still won't be fully finished for a week or two after I move in but that's fine, I think I'll enjoy getting the house ready and seeing it come to life one step at a time.
