I spotted it yesterday when i had to write 21/02/2022 on a hospital form... so today is symmetrical 22/02/2022 (in my dyslexic way of thinking)

Edit: Apologies, it was 22nd here yesterday, so I was writing 22 02 2022 yesterday on hospital forms.

caseydog Having just told you the world ends on the 22nd and finally realized that was actually yesterday, I'd like to add the update that the world didn't end on the 22nd because it's the 23rd here today, right now, for another 6½hrs it so.... :laugh:

And thinking about it, it's the last time that all the same numbers can be used in short form. .. 33 won't work. :o_o:
 
Turns out, my phone screen wasn’t cracked at all, just the screen protector. I didn’t even know that was possible. At least it did its job, though, even if it did cost me $29 to find out.

They had choice strip steaks on sale at Kroger today. I got a 4-pack, normally $45, marked down to $30.

My receipt showed a charge of $42, so I checked at customer service and they confirmed the bar code was wrong, and refunded me the difference, plus $5 for my trouble, so I got them for $25.

yes, some radio host mentioned it, I heard it during a bus ride, it was in the news section, I thought that was bizzarre. Probably not a serious station anways...when I saw the video stillshot, I thought it was another singing show like Eurovision, do not really know why :) oh perhaps because we had the national draw song contest for Eurovision recently, it really was quite blah, except for two songs perhaps...why did i watch? curiosity I guess. possibly a faint hope it might get better. did not.:D
 
Weird weather today. It is 21F/-6C and raining. It is a very light rain that should be frozen in some form, but it is not. :scratchhead:

I should have said, some of my wandering attention is due to good news that my visitor's visa for the UK is ready, so my mind is abuzz with plans for England and Scotland in April!
That's just not terribly helpful when I'm staring at a pile of actual work that needs to be done and I have little motivation 😅

London for a cousin's wedding. Might take the train up to Wendover to see an old friend.
In Scotland, we're shortening our itinerary, but Edinburgh and Inverness are probably the major cities we'll visit. I really wanted to do Skye, but we'll see...
