My husband wore his Pi shirt yesterday.Oh no, yesterday was Pi day, and I missed it. I didn't have any pie.
(for non-Mercans, Pi day is March 14... 3/14).
I need to go to California for April 20... 4/20 day. It is still illegal here.

You are really a trooper. Hard working ethics.Outside is 19°C and 85% humidity. Inside is 20°C and only 79% humidity. I'm not sure showering will actually achieve anything right now. There's certainly no chance of drying anything with the humidity as high as it is, though despite the low cloud the UV is surprisingly high at 3 (out of 15)... I've just walked to the postbox, up to the top chook house and back to the house and the sweat is dripping off me.
I think I'll just go back to digging holes in the veg plot until it rains again. I need to get the fertiliser (chook shit from 3 years ago) into the veg plot do I can get my winter veg sewn... one thing at a time though. I still need to harvest all of my summer crops. Potatoes are all in. Now for the remainder...

Ya Know dawg, you could take a shorter trip to AZ on 4/20, its legal here
Yes, indeed. Thank you.How bizarre! Glad you are OK
Went for our lunchtime walk to collect the mail from the letterbox... and came back with a Staffordshire Bull terrier called Ruby instead! Lol. Not what we were expecting in the mail today.
She's now lying at my husband's feet in his office until her owner returns to collect her in a few hours time...
Europe is being hit by Saharan dust brought by storm Celia, and the sky has been looking really weird. In some places the sky looks orange. It doesn't look too orangey where I live, but it's still looking weird.

Yes, that's how it looks. It's supposed to last a couple days here, but it doesn't happen frequently, it's a one off event. But the air quality is bad. People with respiratory problems are being asked to stay indoors with windows and doors closed. Cars are covered in a thin layer of sand too. I haven't been outside but when I open the windows I can notice the air feels different. It's been windy too.We get that here in Dallas, but from West Texas sand. Nasty, but doesn't usually last long. Cool night time air usually brings it down. Here is a photo from my house during a West Texas dust storm.

When we lived in Kaneohe and had Vito, our GSD, the neighbor's kids had this adorable little mutt. Whenever Cookie got out, her first stop was our house, by means of busting through our back screen door The wooden latched door was never closed, I mean come on man, what idiot is going to try to come in our house with a 130 pound German Shepard? Thanks for doing that. Many a dog has spent time at my house hanging out with Psycho-poodle until the owner could come and pick it up. Always the same, somebody didn't close the gate to their yard, and the dog went for a walkabout.
My dog has a tag with my phone number on it, an I've gotten a few calls over his ten years, where I didn't close the driveway gate.
It's just nice to know there are people out there who care about wandering dogs.
