She’d gladly give you 3/4ths of it if she could!
I used to have very dense, coarse hair. The sort of stuff that needed 2 hands to hold it all together because there was so much of it.

When I was 20, I had it permed and the hairdresser (more deceased) decided that it would need much longer than normal etc... within a week it started to fall out in huge handfuls, literally coming away with the brush when I brushed it. It did that for about a month and what was left is all I have had ever since. It's now that fine and thin that I have to have special sized bobbles (elastic hair bands) to hold it all in. Much smaller than normal and they'll wrap around it 4 or 5 times. Originally that size would not have gone around it once because there was so much of it. But I guess at least I haven't gone grey unlike my hubby who started going grey at 18, before I even met him.

The same thing happened to me.

I just got a big punch in the gut. Just days before Christmas, American Sports Legend, Franco Harris died. He was only 72. It was also just days, this Saturday, That his Jersey number was going to be retired by the Steelers.

Just for perspective, in the 89 year history of the Pittsburgh Steelers, his will be the third jersey number retired by the team. From now on, no Pittsburgh Steelers player can wear that number.

That will give it time to happen.
We're meant to be in ours and last week we were having temps overnight of 2.3°C.

I just looked for NSW n my globe (yes, I still have a globe), and it seems really odd for you to be having that kind of temperature. Your position South of the Equator is not much difference than the American Midwest states in the US. Are you at a very high elevation?

Canberra is on a higher plain compare to the UK and what we're used to. I'm in the very far south east of nsw which is massively different from differently north east for example. NE is tropical. SE is considered to be temperate to cool with alpine thrown in for good measure. Sydney is much, much warmer than us and only 200-300km away. Plus we also reside at 900m altitude, Canberra is on a plain at 5-600m altitude and not that far from the Snowy Mountains which is alpine and had almost enough snow 2 weeks ago to go skiing. Our weather is affected considerably by the Southern Ocean and Antarctica.

Edit, NSW runs from -28° lat to -37° lat. We're around -35° latitude
