Over the past week or so quite a few colleagues have been poorly with heavy colds, today the FD cried off from the Christmas party this evening because he is full of cold and is feeling very rough, fingers crossed neither of us get it, the last thing we need at this tims if year especially when we are looking after dad this year.

We did our big grocery shop early this morning before the crush of people and snow that is apparently on it's way 
We saved up all our nectar points so the bill came to just over £40.00 instead of over £80.00. We bought mince pies and Christmas slices because dad likes them, we don't.

They do look thin, seem healthy enough though. I should imagine they are monitored closely.

Not long ago, locally, the owner of a horse in that kind of shape was arrested for animal cruelty.

Thanks. Just been out for a short walk, post a few cards and do a bit of shopping, I now feel pooped. My husband has made leek and potato soup with cheddar cheese added just before serving
that will make me feel so much better.

I dropped a strawberry yogurt on the kitchen floor, it is lino so easily cleaned, my sock is washable as is the cat
