It's not just the ribs, you can see the backbone clearly. I'd be contacting animal control if I knew where they were. Like Craig mentioned, there was an arrest made recently lically for animal cruelty for a horse that was just a little skinnier than they are. I looked at some pictures on-line, and, while they genearally look to run skinny, not that skinny where you can clearly see backbone and ribs.

At this time of year suppliers give us stuff to thank us for our custom. It all goes into the company raffle, it was drawn this afternoon. A couple of hours later we had 2 visitors, too late for the raffle so a box of Thorntons and a tin of roses are in 'the cupboard' to share around and 3 of us acquired a bottle of wine each :happy:
 
Dad had his surgery this morning, he was under for a few hours and was still a bit woozy when I spoke to him. The sister on the ward said he could leave today, I explained he would be staying with us and would be climbing stairs for the loo so she suggested keeping him in overnight just to be on the safe side so I am taking tomorrow morning off work and bringing him home.
 
My toilet is leaking . I reported it Monday last week , it is still leaking. It's leaking from a crack in the base .I have no idea how water (not the clean type ) is getting to that area but it is . it's a temperature related leak as well. As the day goes on and it gets hot, it leaks more. We had the mop the floor 4 times during the night to stop it reaching the new laminate floor in the hallway.
I've been promised the plumber will come out this morning . I'm at the doctor's. I'm not expecting the plumber to be there when I get home !
 
I've been feeling queasy for the last few days - every time I ate or drank anything I felt sick. It might have been a bug. I realised quite how difficult it was to cook if you feel queasy. I was beginning to get worried. But today I'm feeling better. Now I can't wait to start cooking with an appetite again!
 
Today was the last working day of the year,a few of my colleagues bought their kids in. The 3 women in the office with me know I don't like kids-I ham it up a bit- anyway, someone asked if I would be ok with all the kids there to which someone else replied, L has already come out in a rash :laugh:

Apart from a dodgy ear, I am lucky health wise, my brother and sister-both older than me- both have health issues. Dad's having a few problems here and there but he is generally in good shape for 79.
