Death Storm 2020 is about 6 inches off of the 8 inch prediction I heard earlier.

Just getting over my third bout of sepsis. Really getting fed up with this. Seems that I get sepsis, take the tablets and get clear then a week or so later get another bout.

I had a blood test on Monday last week and felt fine, absolutely full of beans, nothing at all wrong with me.
Tuesday morning I woke up shivering and shaking as though I was in an earthquake and feeling so, so cold.
I had to cancel work and luckily I already had an appointment with the doc on Wednesday to go over my blood test.

My blood test was 100% Aok. Liver function, kidneys etc. all absolutely spot on. Even my cholesterol was good. Which was quite heartening for me as that hopefully indicates there is nothing 'sinister' going on in the background. But he was very puzzled as to why I had yet another infection.
Anyway, back at work tomorrow and have a follow up appointment with doc to see if I've kicked this one into touch.

Have now lost 21lb or so in just over a month!:watching:

You poor thing - there has to be a reason, I suppose and I hope they get to the bottom of it. I hope you feel better soon.

Thing is, I know that there are many peeps worse off than me, there are even probably some on this forum who would relish my level of fitness so I feel a little guilty sometimes moaning about it. But it is still bloody frustrating!

However I am aiming to turn it to my advantage. I've had a huge weight loss due to this and although I fully expect some 'bounce back' when I'm finally clear I aim to use it to turbocharge my weight loss programme and at least get myself back to my profile pic shape.

Went to the Doctor about the evermore unbearable cough. Lucky my, I have pneumonia. I did't see that coming. Cash flow this week is gonna' suck. I also have to learn how to use these inhaler things. I hope I don't blow some powder stuff all over my face.

Sorry for you. Hope you get better soon. I suppose at least you know what it is and it can be treated. Take it easy.

Thanks. More of PITA than anything.

It was kind of fun telling my 87-year-old dad I had pneumonia. Pneumonia, at your age? My parents think I'm still young and invincible. Especially when they want me to come"home" and fix something of the top story roof of their ginormous house. My 61 year old sister isn't much help when she says, "If you don't do it, he will."

Ah, enough free family therapy. I need to judge some beans.

Hope you feel better cd. 14 deg c here today and rain, bit of respite from late 20s and early 30s we been getting. Tonight we have dinner club, first wed every month. I don't know where we are going yet, my wife organises all this, I just have to dress a bit tidier than my normal attire, shorts and a beater. Oh, and I have to put shoes on tonight, lol.

:roflmao:

Hope you have a good evening.

Lol, I will, my friend from school is going, ( one of my best friends, if not the best?) we will plan a day or two to go to the pub for a gossip. A couple of the ladies are a bit boring, but they are members.
I'm almost 24/7 in shorts so I hate get dressed up. About the year 2000 I threw away all my ties and business shirts. I'm pretty laid back now.

I love ties (and cravats, and ascots, and scarves, and...). Some days, I wear a tie even if I'm staying home!

Lol, I got sick of ties and business shirts, after I had been in business for about 10 years I decided, never again. I still have one white shirt and two ties, for funerals and weddings etc.
