Well, the nimrod who posted a picture of himself sitting in House Speaker Pelosi's desk got busted. Figures he's from Arkansas. I wonder if his wife/sister took the picture.

The man photographed sitting at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk during Wednesday's riots in the US Capitol has been arrested and charged with three federal counts, including theft of public property, federal officials said Friday.

Federal officials said Richard Barnett of Arkansas was taken into custody Friday morning in Little Rock.

Barnett was charged with knowingly entering and remaining in restricted building grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds as well as the theft of public property, officials said.

Hopefully he was never given the chance to reproduce. I can't imagine what woman would want to breed with him, but there unfortunately is probably someone who was willing to do so. UGH.

Maybe he and the others at this super-spreader riot will get COVID-19 and perish.

You mean on the forum? I've often found just me online. This morning, for example! It varies a lot. Perhaps a better guide is the number of posts made per day. Lately they have been a bit higher than average. Perhaps I'm misunderstanding you...

I have noticed that you seem to be on almost every time I log on. I wondered if you ever did anything else.

We went to the grocery today and then picked up some cuban sammies for lunch. As we were leaving the shopping center, some nimrod in a low rider truck pulled in. His truck was decorated with 2 HUGE Trump flags waving in the wind. Even if I had been a Trump supporter, I certainly wouldn't be making such a statement now.

I have not encountered the word "nimrod" before (except as the name for a pretty good spy plane we used to have), I can tell roughly what it means by the context, but is there a specific definition?

The system won't count you as online if there is no activity from you for a specific period of time (either 20 or 30 minutes, can't remember what I set it to now), so even if CB is the open & active tab on your web browser, if you don't scroll down, type, navigate to a new page or change the screen in anyway whatsoever, you won't be counted as online.

Hmmm. Weird. I check in frequently enough, sometimes on my phone or one of my computers, but I'm not on the site all the time.

There are all sorts of words for, um, idiots. I'll give you a couple of Scottish ones should you fancy a bit of diversity in the matter. Numpty and bampot.

There is a difference: in general, a numpty is someone who is stupid, but essentially harmless. A bampot, on the other hand, is usually rather more dangerous. In the recent context, I think we're looking more at bampots than numpties.

I went to my favorite Indian restaurant yesterday. I'm a clumsy eater and I always stain myself when I eat foods with sauces but yesterday I was pleased at myseld that I managed to eat without staining my clothes. That was only because I hadn't found the stains yet. Arriving home I realized there were two huge curry stains on my sleeves:banghead:
