That’s probably more than most people.
Yep - I’ve only been to 3, including the one that I live in!

I’d love to travel more, but life keeps getting in the way. We probably would have travelled a lot more these past few years, had there not been a pandemic. I’m still not sure when we’ll be comfortable getting on a plane again.

I guess being in Canada then every trip is a long haul flight for you. The advantage of being in Europe is that you can be in twenty or so countries within a couple of hours.

For those who have travelled so much and want more: congrats on being able to explore so much. I'm happy for you!

I haven't been able to travel for the last 18 years, and since I know I have a blood clotting disorder anything that requires more than a few hours of travel is off the table.
When I was a child I have been to France, Greece, Germany, Finland, Belgium and Great Britain. So I have at least seen some things.
But by now, France is already a stretch. But at least I can afford it.
My husband and I are set on going to Belgium, France and Germany the next few years (in that order). He promised me Paris, because that's my main dream as I have never been there, and I promised him Berlin but he wants to wait with that for a while.

Past few days have been glorious, this is today, doesn't clearly show how heavy it is coming down and sideways.

This has been our view (but darker) for the entire month except one day. the Netherlands is having an unprecedented rainy start of the season. Today was rainy and dark too.

My mum was dragging me everywhere in school vacation. Been with her to France (Paris, middle sea, Britannia), Portugal, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Morocco (agadir). Without her I was in Poland, Czech Republic, London and Spain (last 100km way of st. James). And yeah, as mentioned before, traveling Europe might just be like visiting other states, most things aren't new to you but the difference is refreshing.

Paris was rather disappointing as it was pretty expensive, Marseille was my favorite in France. And Morocco/Agadir was a complete surprise, as it turned out to be super welcoming towards tourists.

Nowadays I don't travel, it's to mich pollution and I could spend the money on something kitchen related.

Paris is wonderful, so many fantastic things to see, and the home of the most disappointing thing you will ever set your gaze upon. I've only been to Berlin once on business but I've promised Lu to take her soon, and we will time it to see Nils Frahm in concert whilst we are there.

Another mass shooting today. 4 dead, at least 8 injured in Kentucky. As an American and a responsible gun owner, I'm just not satisfied with the "thoughts and prayers" approach to this epidemic -- yes, this is an epidemic. The overwhelming majority of American gun owners agree with me. So, it's not the American people to blame here, it is a small minority of scumbags and the NRA that are making the rules.

After the last mass shooting in a school that killed three teachers and three nine-year-old students that made the news in Nashville, three members of the Tennessee legislature joined protesters for sensible gun laws. Two of them are black, one white. The two black legislators were expelled from the Republican dominated legislature. The white member was not. Trumps's MAGA cult is not bothering to be subtle anymore.

The perpetrators of these crimes mostly come from good, white middle class families, If they were Isis inspired, or had strange accents then I'm sure action would be taken. As it is the law makers and NRA prefer to take each case in isolation... she was a transexual, that explains it. He had mental health problems, that explains it. He has issues associating with people, that explains it. Well we have people just like that in every country in the World, except we do don't allow them unrestricted access to military grade weapons.... that explains it.
