I hate computer printers. They have one job to do. One simple job. How hard can it be to put some ink on some paper.

I used to buy cheap printers, and ink replacement costs more than the printer, so you may as well buy a new printer. Then, Epson came out with this new printer that has refillable ink tanks. It cost three times as much... and is three times the piece of 💩 that the cheap piece of 💩 printers are.

I just spent ten minutes printing ONE PAGE!!! I had to practically dismantle the printer to print that ONE PAGE!!!

Turn the volume WAY down before watching around kids or co-workers. 😎

It never fails. If I need to print something and have absolutely nothing that has to be done in the next several hours or until the next day, it prints out perfectly on first try. If I need to be somewhere within a couple of hours or heaven forbid am in a hurry, then the print command will go through and nothing, other than sitting in the print que and not allowing anything else to be printed and won't delete/cancel the job either. Everything has to be unplugged and restarted, then it might or might not clear and allow me to get what I need, or I might have to unplug and restart everything for a second time.

I've learned to always print out whatever I need the day before so the little gremlin that lives in the printer doesn't fu€k with me.

And it's not a cheap printer either, mid range ish.

Think I've lost the plot tonight.

I've just been wandering around the house trying to round up my inhalers and spacer, phone and trigger point ball so I could go to bed. I couldn't find my spacer anywhere. So with 3 identical inhalers in my hands, I wandered through to the bedroom to see if the spacer was there. It wasn't. So I unloaded what was in my hands and yep, I found it. It was hanging off the end of my little finger!

My thinks it is time for bed!

I know what an inhaler is, and my phone is always on whatever floor of my house that I am not on at any given moment -- or it's in my car. You lost me with the spacer and the trigger point ball.

Good grief, I like the "creation museum" set out like it is a real museum where exhibits demonstrate real science.

Oh, that is their dream... for the book of Genesis to be taught as real science in our schools. Keep in mind, for a majority of one of our political parties, Trump was chosen by god to lead us.

The spacer goes better the mouth and the inhaler to prevent direct medication onto the tongue or back of the throat to reduce issues with fungal infections in the mouth. It also helps to get more of the medication into your lungs if you can't breath in properly (it stops the meds being blown out of the device as you breath out. )

Mine is much smaller and more convenient than this one, and has a silver lining to reduce infection risk etc...

A trigger point ball is a hard ball about the size of a base ball designed for use on muscles, to press and hold against muscles when you really need to get to a massage or physio and can't. It does work really well and is significantly cheaper and easier to access 24/7.

I'm glad I don't have those other things, because finding my phone is enough of a problem.

Interesting on the landing page of their website there is an image showing a mixed race family. That could be a bit challenging for some of those who take every word of the bible to be a fact based reality.

I've never heard this term before; I thought "processed food = bad", but some processed foods are good. Examples include frozen vegetables and broccoli cut into florets. They're processed, because they aren't in their natural state, but nothing bad is done to to hurt their nutritional value.

Then, there are the ultra processed foods. These are what you'd expect: chocolate bars, packaged cookies, fast food. According to a study published in The BMJ, ultra-processed foods are the main source (nearly 58%) of calories eaten in the US, and contribute almost 90% of the energy we get from added sugars.

I'm starting to get irritable from the weather for the first time in my life. It's a record breaking grey spring so far (we've had like 3 sunny days since the start of spring) and from last year september on it's been grey, windy and rainy almost every day. Ugh.. It's starting to make me feel somewhat unhappy, and I'm the world's biggest hater of heat..

Have you ever gotten light treatments? I know someone who would go once or twice a week during the fall and winter, in particular, and it seemed to help him.
