It's been nearly 50 years here. We lived on the 6th or 7th floor at the time. I saw a few snowflakes on their way down. They melted as soon as they hit the ground.

Our temperature has just gone into free fall! Guess we've got a front coming through because it's still 2½hrs till it goes dark and not that long ago it was still too hot to go outside (28°C here). It's still sunny here, so...

I'd not realised that it is the summer solstice today. So whilst it is the longest day, it's not the latest time the sunsets here. That's in the middle of January, it's just we start getting darker in the mornings faster than it stays light in the evening. Nerve longest day, not the latest sunset.
