Traditional British Breakfast Fare Ingredients

No homemade beans are not traditionally done for a full english but they are superb.
So much better than the tinned variety, it's like they're a different product from the tinned ones.
Even people who don't like baked beans enjoy them.

I make a double sized batch, have some with a top notch brekky, leave people wanting more and surprise them with a nice beans and poached egg breakfast the next day.

Thank you MG! There's a bit of glare in your photo but I think I just might have the beans. Slow cooker overnight and they taste pretty good. Reminds me, growing up we used to eat those beans with ketchup but it wasn't a thinned out sauce.

How do they look?

Edit: I stirred them too much...

They certainly look pretty spot on to me!

Lovely 🥰
I like them broken down a bit and deliberately over stir mine! 😂

Thank you both!

Now to start sourcing *fresh* pork. All kinds of farms and meat processing going on especially since we've still got a month of deer season left.

I'll probably have to make the sausage and blood being unavailable will this do? bangers
Now that looks like a proper sausage to me!
Two for breakfast.
Two for lunch in white bread with loads of butter ( sausage butty)
And two for dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy (bangers and mash)
