Good to hear. Gradually it will get better.
My boyFriend's brother/his wife, their toddler, their parents all got some respiratory virus, tested Covid negative, and my boyfriend's Mom got it since 2 days, too.

Sponge cake with regular ingredients, for my parents.

Banana carob bread.
Carob is mixed in. The sprinkle is additional cinnamon.

French apple cake, flavored with honey bourbon. Once cooled, it’ll go into the freezer and end up as part of the top tier of afternoon tea in a couple of weeks.

Ok, half that apple cake went into the freezer - we’re eating some of it tonight:
MrsT says this is the best cake I’ve ever made (which isn’t saying much, the way me and cakes get along), but this is one cake I’ve made three or fours times, and it’s always come out very nicely done. You can see all the bits of apple in there.

Tahini and date syrup cookies. They're meant to have sesame seeds on the outside, but apparently I have none. I'm also now out of tahini as well.
These are (American) biscuits I made earlier and froze the dough, baked off this morning for eggy biscuit sandwiches.
