Another offering from my local patissier - a Paris-Brest gateau.

per wiki (and edited) …"A Paris–Brest is a French dessert, made of choux pastry and a praline flavoured cream. Its name comes from the Paris-Brest-Paris cycle race (which originated in 1891). The circular shape is representative of a wheel. It became popular with riders on the Paris–Brest cycle race, partly because of its energizing high caloric value".

Day before yesterday was a simple chili pork sausage with mash.
