Three 40 oz pilsners?

Did I do a typo? I think @Yorky was referring to the fact that he won a 'mandolin' in the last Spice Challenge and then proceeded to slice into his finger the first time he used it (he wasn't using the guard). Mind you, I often do typos.
You misspelled duck.
York mentioned that he had never had your misspelled duck confit. The next post you made was about slicing more than onions.

A massive boiguh here today...bun bottom, burger patty, slice o cheddar cheese, burger patty, slice o cheddar, red onion, tomato lettuce, butter sauteed mushrooms, slice o bacon, a squirt of ketchup and mayo, and the bun top...
How big of a mouth do you have? Or can you unhinge your jaw like a snake? :D

I think I said earlier that we were having leftovers. I lied. Baby haddock fillets looked appealing, so I bought a little bit and dolled them up. Topped them with buttered breadcrumbs mixed with a seasoning blend that includes shallots, chives, and scallions, hence the pale green hue. Squirted lemon juice over that (too much, since the breadcrumbs were a bit...damp) and baked the fish; topped with capers when served. While that was happening, I steamed fresh broccoli. Before we had that, though I made "His and Hers" salads. His was romaine lettuce with normal salad veggies while mine was the last of the baby lettuces topped with blueberries, raspberries, cherries and walnuts. In spite of hubby's "frou-frou salad" comment, it was quite good!

A massive boiguh here today, courtesy of the Sports dept..

To build the burger: bun bottom, burger patty, slice o cheddar cheese, burger patty, slice o cheddar, red onion, tomato lettuce, butter sauteed mushrooms, slice o bacon, a squirt of ketchup and mayo, and the bun top.

Side of baked crisps, and a diet iced tea (gotta eat healthy, you know).
The sports guys feed you well.

Now on dinner, we didn't eat the bread because I made too much other food.

When I was in Scotland, but also in England, I've noted that bread or crackers isn't usual to find on table at restaurant while you are waiting meal. It's only a note.

If bread is on the table it will be eaten which will leave less room in the tummy for the meal itself. I personally am happy not to have any.
