What did you cook/eat today (October 2017)?

Marinate over night in the fridge.

There were many ribs there. I only cooked half today. I will freeze the remaining ribs (in the marinade) tomorrow. I've never tried freezing marinated ribs before.

That looks lovely, @Elawin, and the recipe I found sounds interesting. I might be able to get away with this at home - just so long as I serve it up with something "meat". Or maybe I'll make it on a Monday and tell my hubby we're observing Meatless Monday.

I was semi-lazy today, so I resorted to a can of soup instead of something homemade. I did make the rest of supper, though: spinach salads (with HC egg, bacon, black olives, tomato, Feta cheese) and grilled ham-and-cheese sandwiches on rye bread. I also dished out some pickled lemony-garlic cauliflower and split a homemade dill pickle between us.

@Lynne Guinne and @morning glory I'm writing up the recipe at the moment and will post it after I've taken a very impatient mutt for a walk

Are you experiencing the strange yellow light where you are, @Elawin. It began yesterday as a result of the hurricane carrying sahara dust and blotting out the sun. Its very strange... rather like just before a solar eclipse. I think it has affected birds.
