Fresh frozen porcini mushroom, prosciutto di Parma, and ParmR pasta in a cream and white wine sauce. Came out pretty good.

How did you cook the potatoes with the sausage and onion on a skewer? Did you par cook the potatoes? If so, how did they stay together when you skewered them?

CD
Nothing so difficult: I cut up the potatoes, quartered an onion, grabbed two brats threw everything in a bowl with some seasonings and oil, tossed it around, then dumped it all in the air fryer.

Flipped the brats at around the 10-minute mark (should have been more like 8), and then another 6 minutes (should have been 5, probably), and that was that.

After everything sat for a few minutes, I cut the brats up (hot! I had to use a towel to hold them) and stuck them on the skewers.

TLDR; it’s a reverse-engineered kebab.

Ah, so you cooked everything, and then skewered it.

Good Friday Friday Fish Fry (say that fast five times ) out with Mr. & Mrs. Next-Door-Neighbor.
This go-around, I asked for pan seared Cod & Fries/Chips that comes with a small serving of Coleslaw.
Our local Golf Club/Country Club, which is part of a HOA type of neighborhood, has a great restaurant attached to it (run under contract), mostly I'm sure for the 19th hole, but good food all the same.
Each night of the week there's some sort of special.
Saturdays is Prime Rib dinner nights, Wednesday is Karaoke, they also have a movie night with nice weather and so on.

< edit : TastyReuben do ya see how my meal is served? :headshake:Lovely moist Fish served on those dang 1/4 sheet trays ON PAPER! :stop: >

Di Cecco is a lower priced brand of dried pasta that is actually quite good.
Strange you should say that. In Venezuela, all my Italian friends say it´s the best brand - and therefore it´s usually the most expensive. Here it cost me £1.30 - $1.60. I love their papardelle - just the best!

Massaman beef curry, satay skewers with a fabulous sauce, salad and rice. Coriander on the side so as not to upset the haters.

And for dessert we had the definitely not Thai strawberry cheesecake my kids have been requesting. It’s a set vanilla cheesecake rather than baked. Topped with set couli & fresh strawberry halves.

I also like De Cecco, plus, La Molisana. Barilla or Buitoni if I can’t get those.
