I'm not shy! I would say, "Hey, quit skimping on the mayonnaise and bacon!!! And don't you have some microgreens or somethin' layin' around in that badass refrigerator of yours?"

Though I am fairly certain as a kind and accommodating host he would ask me while preparing the sandwich, "Is this enough mayonnaise or would you like more? Would you like a little extra bacon?" Because that's what I would do if I were making someone a sandwich.

But he barely cooked it, it was floppy and not crisp. And what's the point of using squeeze mayonnaise if you end up having to spread it with a knife? Why not just get a jar of it? That little bottle of squeeze mayonnaise wouldn't last 2 weeks in my house.

A fried egg makes everything better.

Well, maybe not if it's a dessert. And, I don't know if the Internal Revenue Service will be okay if I submit my tax return with a fried egg on it in an attempt at leniency. But, for most things, a fried egg makes it better.

Oh, as I often do with videos, i watched it with the volume off.

Ambivalent, I think. Something I won’t throw out immediately, but something I won’t replace when it’s gone.

It had a certain…funky taste I didn’t really care for (I imagine some would describe it as an earthiness). The ingredients on the jar aren’t listed out, except for sumac, but it had a definite cumin-like taste.

Better to make your own. The taste should be zingy from the sumac but with (as you detected) an earthiness from woodsy herbs (rosemary, thyme). The main effect should be citrus and 'bright' but tempered with depth from the other ingredients.
