What did you cook or eat today (April 2023)?

Strange you should say that. In Venezuela, all my Italian friends say it´s the best brand - and therefore it´s usually the most expensive. Here it cost me £1.30 - $1.60. I love their papardelle - just the best!

De Cecco is a good pasta brand here in Italy although there are many better and cheap as well.
The worst one in my opinion is Barilla.

There's some bad stuff happening in my life right now, so nothing special, just hot dogs and chips.

Sorry to hear about the bad stuff happening. But, that's a pretty darn good looking dog right there. That would brighten my spirits on a bad day. :okay:

I do have to say that in my house, your cat is about two inches away from using up one of its nine lives.

De Cecco is cheaper than Barilla at my grocery store, and IMO, it is better quality dried pasta than Barilla.

BTW, it is always a treat to see you here on the forum. If I lived in your house, I'd weigh 300 pounds -- your food always looks sooooo good, even when it is something I've never heard of as an Italian American.

Thank you, that's so kind of you, I'm very glad to hear that.

haha, I've been pretty busy with work lately and the opportunities to cooking up a storm feeding friends and family like before have diminished. In fact since I'm less at the cooker everyone seems thinner and fitter

I would love to cook with you, as an Italian American Texan. I figure you and I could come up with some dishes that would offend both Italians and Texans. But they would taste good.

Italian American Texan. I like the idea. Ok let’s go to be revolutionary.
( Keep in mind that neither of us will be able to put a feet into each other countries again 😂)
Don´t tell me... Neapolitan pizza with brisket, and loaded chilli con carne. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I was just thinking about this!
