They’re so popular now, I think couples are putting them on their wedding registries in place of china or stoneware - “We’d like 12 place-settings of aluminum baking sheets, please, and some measuring cups to drink out of, thanks!”

And along those line of 1/4 sheet trays lined with paper for service in restaurants now-a-days ...

Our Neighborhood Gang went to Friday Night Fish Fry and I ordered the Pan Seared Shrimp again, but with a side Green Salad rather than Fries... I use a knife&fork and it notoriously shreds the paper underneath ... hate this!
Can you see all of the Salad Dressing and lovely goodies from the Shrimp there?

Back in the USSR Venezuela Thursday evening . Got home at around 6pm, no car, no neighbours around and no food. Finally got a ride to the local grocery about 7.45, so dinner was Holsum sandwich bread, slathered with margarine (no butter available) and mayo, and a slab of local white cheese, Coca/cola and bottled water (to which I added bottled whisky).
Yesterday I walked to the grocery shop, bought some more basics (tomatoes, garlic, onions, potatoes, peppers, rice, aji dulce, arepa flour, pasta) and a neighbour gave me a lift home. Later on, another trip for ice, light bulbs, ham, salad greens, more cheese, bones for dog and beer.
Dinner was vermicelli with tomato sauce and capers.
