Picked up these novel instant ramen packs on a recent short trip to Bangkok. My son is a ramen fiend but also loves (real) Carbonara and he gave these an ‘ok but not brilliant’ endorsement. They were alright as a snack - gotta say I love the packaging.

My daughter likes this brand that she gets from H-Mart for a quick meal.

I made grilled B/S Teriyaki Chicken Thighs, My Quick Cucumber Kim Chee (or kimchi, whatever) and some more of that Fried Rice that I made earlier.

I had enough leftover to make up a small Bento Box for Mom that I'll take over to her, along with a few other bits I have for her, tomorrow before we go to the dentist.

*Cook's note: I always cut up "meat" so that the diner feels that are getting more than they really are ... less is more :chef:

Hers. Yes, it's a very, very nice kitchen, much better and bigger than mine. The first time I went over there, I brought my knives, then found that she was massively stocked with Wusthof and similar high-quality knives. And All Clad cookware. And Riedel stemware. And Weber cast iron skillets...
