I make a mean Meyer Lemon Marmalade that is wonderful!

I haven't made this in a number of years ... note to self, let's do this!

Last pic was pasta sauce for fettuccine.
I did ribs yesterday to speed up the process. Lot of cooking going on atm.
Croquettes are half thawed.

Were these done in the oven? I don't see any smoke ring, so I dont think they were smoked.
What was the rub? They look tasty.

Yeah I dont have a smoker. They are 2 1/2 hrs in oven. Then ribs sat overnight.
Sauce I thickened then added before serving. It's better than joints here that produce tough ribs. Mine fall off bone.

I laughed more than I should have just then. My wifes 1 of 9. Her mother used to name 5 or 6 til she got the right one.
Was funny to sit and listen to her.

Russ
My Grannie did exactly the same. She'd even try boys names with girls and go via the dog's name as well, and so on. Didn't matter which generation you were either.

My MIL just calls them number 1, number 2, number 3 or number 4...

Texas fish-n-chips. Fried catfish (cornmeal dredge) and some really good fries. The fish was not quite as good as mine :smug:, but still good. The fries were pretty much perfect. Sam's Seafood and Steaks in North Houston.

Evening meal,
Cold soup, Ajo Blanco, a Spanish cold soup that's accidentally vegan (traditionally) with red pepper 'sauce' (Garlic, bread & almond soup.)

Definitely a winner and making it onto our cold soup list for hot summer days.
