Another thing I picked up in the UK!

They like a little starch with their starch, eh?

I like chili (no beans) and cheese on my "baker." (Baker is American slang for baked potato, at least in Texas). It ain't pretty food, but it's great comfort food on a cold day.

Our favorite lunch spot down the road from RAF Upper Heyford was a place everyone called the potato pub, because all they had was a baked potato bar, but it was massive, with the usual things like broccoli and cheese and bacon, but also things like tuna, prawns, sausages, etc.

Being the simple man I am, I just wanted the baked beans, cheese, and onion (and butter - that should go without saying.

I ahve seen at least one other European on the forum post a baked potato with some form of tuna salad on it. Must be a European thing. No judgment, I just never saw it before.

I got it from the UK, they served it in a pub I went to and my ex MIl filled them with tuna and cheese too when I lived in Yorkshire. It's common as far as I know, but might depend on the region.

Where I live baked potatoes are something nobody eats unless at a steak restaurant, so it's not per say ' European 'either. Dutch people think it's American
