Chicken Provençal, followed murphyscreek's recipe from nearly a year ago:

This is a big ol' bunch of flavor! Nice bit of pungency from the olives, a little brightness, I think, and no need to add much salt with the capers in there as well.

Sautéed green beans on the side, and we started with a salad similar to last night.

Haha.. yeah, there's nothing subtle about it. But a dish I've enjoyed for years. Thanks for the nice feedback Tasty.

Mate I stopped smoking a pack of Marlbro reds a day after surviving the heart attack. 3/4 years later when we moved here I knew the cafe lifestyle would give me a problem as a tobacco addict. As part of my leaving prep I visited my heart specialist (he gave me a C/D of all the procedures etc for my new Doctors) his response to vaping was similar to that of the Covid vaccine advice. It is possible to get a reaction but Covid is a killer. IE he was cool with me vaping if it keeps me away from Marlbro.
My niece just face timed me. She looks okay and she is returning to work today. The kids are nearly better. Her husband is a very fit tough guy. I used his printing company for 10 yrs, so I know him well. He is getting better slowly. Debs stepfather Tony's death weighed heavy on me for a time. Debs mum will call me when she is ready. We are very close to the family. They all love my wife and she loves them.

It's quite a bit of work and definitely not very healthy but I love it. Unfortunately I have not been able to successfully freeze the finished dish so I'll be having it another two times in the next few days. Probably with varied accompaniments.
