I remember cream cheese spreads that you stuffed celery sticks with and put them out for crudites back in the late 60s, early 70s. They were served at nearly every get together in the area I lived in.

We use raw celery, carrot and bell peppers (sometimes also radicchio) to dip in a simple sauce made with Evoo, salt and lemon or balsamic vinegar. It’s Pinzimonio, a bit old-fashioned but very nice
I also tried celery with cream cheese or Gorgonzola, super

Very well, thank you. I still have some tenderness, but no real pain unless I do something stupid.

Important thing is I can do pretty much anything I need to do in the kitchen. On the down side, I have no excuse for not cleaning the kitchen after I cook.

CD

That's good news. :)
We have a deal here, I cook, wife cleans up after me. Although I try to clean as I go.

Chicken with rice. Rice was cooked in homemade chicken broth, chicken waa cooked in chicken broth and added bView attachment 55702utter at thw last minute

Your rice looks better than my last effort, I'm sure we had jasmine rice in the pantry only to discover none an hour before service. 4 sachets of 10 minute uncle bens rice didn't really cut it, but was edible.

Made some focaccia, so we had open-faced meatball sandwiches today:

Lots of sauce on the other side, because I'm a saucy boy. Little known fact: Rick James originally wrote "Super Freak" about me, it was called "Super Sauce," and it went like this:

"He's a very saucy boy
He cooks better than your mother
He will never let your soufflé fall
Once you get him in the kitchen."

But the record company told him to go back and write it about a girl, and maybe sex it up a bit.
