And a freezer meal with a broken egg that needed eating (a claw had broken the shell)

Lunch oddly enough peanut butter & jam on the last of the sourdough

And evening meal came as a surprise... the label in hubby's handwriting said "chickpea something illegible pasta bake". It's actually Autumn vegetable cobbler! Oh well. We added some Fry's nuggets to it.

For MrsT, some mushrooms, onion (leftover from yesterday), and spinach - a little parm and a pinch of nutmeg.

I used bagged, washed baby spinach from the supermarket, and curious if you all would leave these as-is or pull the stems off:

These bagged things are supposed to be a timesaver, but they aren’t for me, because I go through leaf-by-leaf and de-stem them.

Personally, I eat the stemlets that attach the leaf to the stem. In most/all(?) leafy greens, it is edible.

I just use it as is. Unless I see any bad leaves.

Absolutely leave stems on. This is baby spinach! Even with more mature spinach I'd probably eat the stalks - but on these baby leaves its a crime to discard them.
