Since I ate only 2/3 of it, guess it was a full serving and then some!

Made Shepard’s Pie. Haven’t had it in awhile.

Lunch, M&S Prawn Sandwich.

This was lunch on Sunday: pasta with cream, walnuts and blue cheese

Followed by a proper decent curry yesterday.
Basmati rice, cauliflower pakoras, ladies fingers (okra) Punjabi style and toor dal (pigeon peas)

We decided to go to the pub and let someone else cook.

Steamed fish cake!!! I haven't seen that since leaving Las Vegas. Used to get it on these little boards. I'll have to see about making that since *no way* happening in North GA foothills. Too darn furin they'd say...

That's exactly where I got my Kamaboko was in Vegas (and yes, it comes on a board), cuz here in Cowboyville, ain't no way I'm gettin' it here!

When ever someone here asks me what I made for supper and I talk about my Won Ton Mein Deluxe ... "what the h--- is that?" and "EWWW, no thanks!"
And by the way Barriehie this coming Saturday 1-11-2025, is Saimin Day!

I found a recipe for making it but haven't got the fish yet. I'll post when I do!

Halved a Beef Pot Pie with DH, along with some steamed Green Beans

This is that $20 Pot Pie from a local farm that I had talked about awhiles back and said that I'd never go back, WELL... As mentioned by others here, $10 pp for supper isn't horrible, so I sucked it up, `cuz DH really likes them. The crust on here is divine

$10 for a meal is about as good as it gets anymore and I can see real *chunks* of chicken in there. Quite unlike those pencil eraser pieces elsewhere...
