What did you cook or eat today (January 2025)

That’s fantastic 🥰
I’m a bit jealous as I’m still avoiding biting the bullet, I may even extend Christmas rules til the end of January 😂
New Year rules start tomorrow, but the first week is always an easier week and given these made it into the shopping basket... I will need to do a bit more than 35 minutes a day if I'm to have one.

One or two boxes? 🤣
Always better to 'tidy away' temptation before starting 😆

After a visit to the Company Shop yesterday I have just polished off a plateful of food that cost less than £1...

I got 3 large juicy rump steaks for £1 each (I cut one in half as they were so big) so the above steak was just 50p the Asparagus were 20p the mash was made from the potatoes I got over Christmas for 19p and the onion rings and peppercorn sauce only cost a few pence for the above portions so well under £1 I reckon!

I love the European version of Hungarian goulash but I like the look of yours too.
So much so the ziti that was already planned for lunch tomorrow will now have a goulash twist on it, thanks ☺️
…or if you want something completely different, you could have some chili mac

Bet that gets some peeps bursting a blood vessel 😂
There are probably 6,137 names for that dish…just in Ohio alone.

It’s a staple, though. Mom made it, we probably had it three times a month at school, and it was the very first meal I ate when I arrived for US Air Force basic training.
