Started out with an onion on the cutting board and ended up with this orzo, onion, carrot, leek, sausage bowl...

If you *ever* overcook pasta again we will make sure the whole planet knows you're a fail...
Looks right good!!!
I'll eat spinach and mushrooms gladly but you lost me at sweet potatoes and yams. Eww.View attachment 123235View attachment 123236
Yes, that’s sweet potato (or is it yam?![]()
) stuffed with mushrooms and spinach - three things I do not like. There’s also cheese, onion, and garlic in there.
I ate all of it…and I’m more stalwart than ever in my dislike.

I sure felt like it after that. Now where’s my hair shirt? Are you doing a New Year's penance or something?
Last night we had copycat chicken Chipotle bowls: brown Basmati rice, pinto beans, grilled adobo marinated chicken chunks, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, and shredded Monterey jack cheese with lime cilantro tortilla chips for dipping. It tasted pretty close to the restaurant's version. I didn't take a photo.
Oh, those sourdough baguettes I baked last night that I thought were so horrible? I cut into one and although it was a little dense and chewy, it had the airy holes and the sourdough flavor I was looking for. I will try it again and see if I can get it to come out lighter, but they weren't as bad as I thought they were!
I did use parchment paper and they did not stick. But that wasn't the issue, it was more about them being heavier and denser than I'd like. And it could be that my dough was too wet. I am going to try a different person's recipe tomorrow and see if I have better results. I will still use parchment paper next time as well, though.Did you use parchment paper and did they stick?
