What did you cook or eat today (January 2025)

Some good ol’ beans on toast. Such good comfort food. Needed a little lift with garlic, onion granules, liquid aminos and smoked salt but then they were just as you’d want them to be.

No. I didn't have any leftover potatoes. I usually just eat leftovers though I will make DH potatoes from scratch occasionally--mostly I just find some dinner leftovers and put a few eggs on it for him and he's happy. I made DH his breakfast earlier but it was rice and beans topped with cheese and eggs, LOL. I made him savory potato pancakes with eggs on top a few days ago. He eats breakfast earlier than I do (sometime between noon and 3) but we eat dinner at the same time.

Yeah we aren't really breakfast people although I know I should.
When I watched eli the other day daughter dropped him off at 8am she left and I asked if he had brekky. He said I'm.not hungry. Now I know he LOVES bacon. So I grilled 2 rashers real crispy.
He smashed them in a minute.
And a glass.of orange juice as well.
He said I do the best bacon.
