Chicken Penne Alfredo with Friends. The “friends” are bits of sun-dried tomato, bacon, and Parmesan Reggiano, which usually aren’t part of an Alfredo dish. I think I will post this one soon.

the one we made last night was a double recipe with everything except for the oil doubled. I also added 4 small ladles of the saffron water to the mix to thin it as well.
Rouladen (for the challenge), along with some mashed potatoes and (jarred) red cabbage.

Yes, that’s sweet potato (or is it yam?
) stuffed with mushrooms and spinach - three things I do not like. There’s also cheese, onion, and garlic in there.
I ate all of it…and I’m more stalwart than ever in my dislike.
I have a big chuck roast that’s got a date with the crockpot sometime soon.

Yup, I tend to have cabernet or merlot on hand so whatever is open...
Possibly, it just depends on what recipe I land on.
