What did you cook or eat today (January 2025)

We put the turkey breast in the smoker this afternoon and pulled it at dark to finish in the oven. The internal temp when we pulled it was 147F. It's covered in foil in a ceramic baking dish at 240F in the oven. I'll check it every 30 minutes or so until it gets to 155 then turn of the oven since we probably won't eat until 10 or later. I'll do a quick low broil uncovered to crisp up the skin at the end before cutting and serving. Hoping it turns out ok!
The turkey was juicy and and beautiful and I couldn't stop eating it!

We tried a new brand of pre-made meals, Factor. The first one was a 50/50. The taste wasn't bad, though the zucchini needed salt. The beef bolognase with mini lasagna noodles tasted okay but Craig said it was more like carrot bolognase. Told him I thought they were trying to make it as healthy as possible. I made some garlic rolls using some brioche dinner rolls we got as part of a BOGO and most of the garlic oil leftover from the pizzas last night.
