Food was ok, but the bar...no. Word to bars - don't employ bartenders who don't know the first thing about beer. :headshake:

- - - My aunt passed away last night. 😥 - - -
Sorry to hear that 😟. Strength and endurance for you and your relatives, dear JAS_OH1.

We took a short trip to the city to check the snail mail, picked up the kids from the train station and went grocery shopping. Today we had just Subs ("tuna" 🙃 +feta and turkey+blue cheese+bacon), raspberries, yesterday's salad leftovers and ready-made Karelian pies.

I'm at my brother's house in Missouri City (near Houston), Texas. He's still out of town working. I've been to his house more in the past 4 years than he has.

Cooking dinner for his wife. Here's the shrimp cocktail:

Flying back to Ohio early in the morning.

Id gladly pull up a stool and help you consume those beautiful morsels. :)

You want to hear something shocking? I have never seen a double yolk egg.
My egg supplier had to move as the motorway south was moving So they moved about half hour further away. That was about 2 years ago, I've tried eggs from everywhere over that time with me being not happy with my eggs.
First they need to be free range
Large as that's what we are used to.

After being p'd off I finally rang Andrew ( we are on first name terms, plus he collects mini cars) I asked hoe I could get his eggs again. He asked where I lived and then said I'm in town every second day, I can drop to your door if I leave money under the mat at front door. $12 for a tray of 15 and about at least a third are double yolkers. I order 2 trays at a time to make it worth his while.
I'm really happy with our eggs now.
I put a pic up a while ago of the size difference.

Russ
