What did you cook or eat today (July 2021)?

Bell peppers filled with bulgur, onion, garlic. Greek yoghurt on the side.

Loved it.

Forgot to put pepper slices as lids to the peppers, as the bulgur outside the holes got dry and hard.

Reminded me of my childhood, when my Grandma would cook meatless stuffed peppers or toms with rice.

I still have filling left, will use it today.

Kid had green tagliatelle with cream and parm sauce.

Made at home in your own kitchen, that is probably a reasonably economical meal. At a restaurant with white table cloths, that is probably a $50 meal (USD). Isn't it great to be able to cook good food?

CD

Yes it’s great. A dish like that wouldn’t be cheap here too, so it’s similar a bit everywhere, I think. Pappardelle in particular is a kind of pasta that here is quite expensive 🤷🏻‍♀️

Corona? Gringo beer. I'd go withe the Sapporo, especially if the food is spicy.

CD
The food was indeed spicy. I've had Sapporo, and I hadn't ever had the Singha, so I went with that, and was not disappointed.

And sometimes your wife's arm, hand, hair, or the rare portrait cameo appearance.
That's mainly on her. She hates having her picture taken.

If I want pappardelle, I'm going to have to make it. I never see it in stores here.

CD
That's one I can get here, even in my smaller local Kroger, usually in their international brand, Hemisfares, though I haven't checked in a while.

My breakfast scrambled eggs.
Hey, it's Pablo! Hi, Pablo! :)

My breakfast scrambled eggs. I joined the foodsharing community and now I can try my skills on not so fresh food. The scrambled eggs contain whipped cream, asian hot sauce, piementos, tiny spring rolls, dill and spring onions.
