I know they are edible and packed with nutrients, I had some many years ago, but which plant is alfaalfa?
Alfa as a word is sometimes used to categorize as absolute top, so is it a categorization? Soy bean sprouts? Have no idea which is top...
Alfalfa is a type of grass. I used to buy alfalfa hay when I owned horses.

Regular white spaghetti, my kids favourites, with cream and parm sauce yesterday for lunch, had a little bit of that, plus leftover bulgur and few spoons of leftover rice. Fresh toms, green onions.
Wonderful local apricots.

The air is so heavy and hot the day over, no rain although predicted. But I managed two 45 min walks and a very light jogg, throughout the day.

It is wonderfully fresh this early in the morning.

I bought some of the herbs and spices for Cajun spice mix. I was thrilled to read about thyme.

It was believed to inspire courage, so soldiers in ancient Europe would bathe in ...and it is the national flower of the Czech republic...

I learned the difference between the two common types of Thyme.

And it has curing properties., Antiseptic and more. How amazing the Nature is.

Oooh that is what it is, I was just about to google, knew I was missing something.
Thank you. I learn every day.😊
From a classic American novel:

We’ll have a cow,’ said George. ‘An’ we’ll have maybe a pig an’ chickens…an’ down the flat we’ll have a…little piece alfalfa—’

'For the rabbits,’ Lennie shouted.

‘For the rabbits,’ George repeated.

‘And I get to tend the rabbits.’

‘An’ you get to tend the rabbits.’

Lennie giggled with happiness. “An’ live on the fatta the lan’.’"

I had to think back to high school for that one. I was having trouble thinking if it was that book, or the more well known book by the same author with a very similar theme.
