Dessert later.

All those beautiful.photos of pasta bakes made me think, yeah, that's what I will cook today.
I've got pork ground meat, and will start on it as soon as I finish off the medical stuff.

Had a coffee and a kipferl half an hour ago, outside on a bench. 'T was good to sit. I had stood on my feet for the whole 90 minutes in hospital. There are too few seats in the waiting room, like 12, and 30 patients and caregivers...

Anyways, grateful to the kind and supportive medical staff. They were wonderful.

HAve an idea for the couscous challenge, I think it will be a vegetarian one, maybe...will prepare tomorrow...

Pasta bake. Beware of the 'simple' dishes. Not as simple in fact.😄

It is not nearly as pretty as I wanted it to be.😆😅 But it is a good meal.

I will try cutting and plating it later again. After it's cooled down and refrigerated. It ran away in all the different directions nearing and hitting the plate.🤭

The vegan cheese never seems to brown. Have no clue why. I gave it an extra 20min at 220 and 230, it just never browns. I've noticed it on my quiches as well...

Anyways...I reckon am good with food for a few days...☺️

Ah! Yes! So immersed in switching between the written recipe and the layering and the audio English lessons, that I had forgotten the tomato sauce in the first meat and sauce layer😅...only the second layer is complete.
