It was perfect weather (70°F / 21°C). But, it’s a serious workout just getting to this restaurant. It's a 10 minute walk from the dock, and there are no taxis or Uber (or any motor vehicles) on the island. Then, you have to climb a steep, lengthy incline to get to the restaurant itself. It feels like I've run the Boston Marathon and this is heartbreak hill. You work up quite an appetite, which I suppose is good, but anyone who has trouble walking is out of luck. There's no way either of our moms could ever go to eat here.

What, they don't have a private helicopter pad nearby? The nerve. :laugh:

The least they could do is provide golf cart transportation for those who have difficulty walking.

Good thing it was moderate temperatures if you had to exert yourself. No one wants to break a sweat while eating around other people. I don't know about your weather today, but here it's around 85F, entirely too warm to not break a sweat on a walk like that.

I suppose if they serve libations, a person had better arrive sober so they can get up the hill, and after a few cocktails, going downhill is much easier, if one is careful to not stumble and roll down the hill!
