Busy day? Looks good by the way
Yep, very busy. Only just made it home in time for a late lunch yet again. 5 shops covered in 4 hrs with 1½hrs driving... came home knackered only to find the chooks in the chook house by the house moaning to be let out. Only problem was I'd already let them out before I'd left :o_o:they just hadn't noticed!

Out tomorrow if well enough, lunch out. Need to spend some government vouchers before they expire at the end of the month and hubby needs to choose some buttons for his cardigan that I'll currently knitting. Only 1 place to buy those and it's almost 2hrs driving each way! Lunch is across the road... still it will get him out of the house. I think it's been 10-11 days since he was last out.

Japanese at a local izakaya last night. We are spoiled for choice near my Sydney residence.

Pork katsu for both of us a meal sets and a few extra bits & pieces.

Took my friend out for her birthday last night.

I offered to take her to Kylie Kwong’s new place but she had a hankering for old school crumbed lamb cutlets so we went to a pub about 15 minutes from here called The Great Northern Hotel (not to be confused with the currently very popular beer of the same name) it’s an older pub that’s been given a massive makeover at some point where they’ve kept the old school charm. Very popular.

Later we came back to our own neck of the woods for dessert at a place called 10000 Coffee which has 2 outlets in NYC and 1 here in Sydney

The “Daisy” is passionfruit & white chocolate and my pastry is a crackled choux filled with black sesame cream pat.
I'd give my left kidney for those plates :)

caseydog I'm sure that this is not authentic, but it's my take on a Frito Pie

IMG_1794.JPG

My homemade Paniolo Chili with Corn Chips on the bottom and top, minced Sweet White Onion, shredded Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese (and a "dollop of Daisy" Sour Cream, that is for me anyways) ... YUM!
That was excellent!!!
DH said that he wants to eat Chili this way from now on :scratchhead:
WHAT? No more steamed White Rice?
Nope, he said this is wonderful and where did I dream this one up from :watching:

Next time, just put the Frito's on the bottom, pour the chili on top, and add your cheese and onions.
