MrsT got a burger, which is unusual for her:

I managed to eat salmon for the first time today! I've never liked seafood, with the exception of tuna. I really want to add salmon to my diet, but I haven't been able to get past the taste (or my mental hangups) until today. I breaded it, cooked it in the air fryer, put it on the junkiest, store-bought white bread I could get, and topped it with a BLT coleslaw. Couldn't tell I was eating fish.

I've found the best way to expand my palate is by hiding ingredients in foods I really like until I get used to them. Pizza and risotto are both great for this.

There are lots of people who don't like fish. I applaud you and glad you found a way to enjoy it!

Haven't actually eaten anything yet - it's still early.
However, I making a leek & bacon quiche, taking out some Caponata, some Ajvar (Croatian red pepper dip), doing a Pissaladière and serving a small plate of Indian food ( chickpeas, sweet/sour aubergines, plantains in coconut) later on.
Yep, it's birthday party time!

I just had a breakfast burrito at the airport at Chef Kent Rathbun's Hickory restaurant. Pretty good, but not as good as I expected from a chef of his caliber.
