What did you cook or eat today (June 2023)?

A picky meal for us. Shrimp cocktail using 15 count Royal Red shrimp, marinated red bell and onions, and prosciutto wrapped grilled asparagus. Salted caramel ice cream for dessert.

I'm making old school tuna casserole with potato chips on top. A scoop of peas under makes it a balanced meal, lol. Great comfort food.
 
A light bite (lunch) with a little extra date syrup over it because I didn't quite mix enough in and evening meal of a mixed bean stew (aka what's left in the fridge, the last of the home grown solanto tomatoes that were finally ripe and 4 tins of different beans and lentils).

That’s some kind of creamy black olive dip, and the fries have a good sprinkling of rosemary on them.

I must say, the kid pouring my beer did the worst job I’ve ever seen. He sat the glass down, poured furiously with an exaggerated motion, then seemed surprised when a third of it ended up overflowed and on the table. 🤦🏻‍♂️

I had him bring me another, and I poured it myself.
 
Pouring beer like that, you should have sent him to cut your back lawn with a pair of nail scissors. Teach him some patience.
(I see you were quaffing a Yuengling. My son's favourite!)

I've never tried a Yuengling back when I could. I know it is popular in the stores here. They are doing some serious marketing, at least in Frisco.
