Well, that’s a funny story - the meatballs are from a German cookbook I have, but I skipped the included sauce recipe (caper sauce, and I made the whole dish for a previous challenge) and made a quickie Swedish meatball sauce.

I call this “Cheater Short Ribs” I cut a chuck roast into 2x2 inch cubes and braise it like short ribs. Turns out really good and a lot cheaper.

Been wanting to make pizza for several days. Tonight I’m making Chicago deep dish.

That’s one pizza style I’ve never made. I’ve even made one of those Chicago stuffed pizzas (remember the Pizza Hut Priazzo pizza?), which was arguably more trouble than the deep dish.
