A decent vet could get that going again.It's been a very long time since I have had a steak as tasty as this New Zealand fillet (and it was probably ten times the price!). And the green peppercorn sauce was exquisite.
The fillet was pan fried in ELOO for 70 seconds each side then given the blowlamp treatment until charred. Left to rest for around 8 minutes. The chips were parboiled then air fried.
Cool! And how did you prepare the batter, if you would be so kind? Just dipping the steaks in the batter and fried?Pork Chops in Batter. Not really pork chops, used loin steaks.
Basically Toad in the Hole but using afore mentioned steaks instead.
