What did you cook or eat today (March 2023)?

Couldn't understand the guy.

That's cajun English. I'm used to it, but it can be hard for people not used to it to understand. I think he poured it on pretty thick, because it was part of his TV persona. In private, his cajun accent was possibly a bit more low key.

I was driving down the West coast of England once, and got lost somewhere near the industrial cities there. I stoped at a petrol station for directions. The cashier was very friendly, and gave me directions. I didn't understand anything she said. I said "Thank you" and left just as lost as before.

We spent 3 weeks in Scotland, my wife was the interpreter, she has more patient. Lol. I never understood anything I was told.
So I cut her some slack with her map interpretation. ( she was nil at maps, even with pen directional the night before)

Homemade or IKEA? :scratchhead:

Close. 😆The balls are a foodservice product I bring in to make frozen meals. Not bad. I use our house beef gravy that I make for a few different meals and then finish them with Allspice, Nutmeg and sour cream. These are a few left over ones I brought home from a batch I made up today at the shop. Too tired to cook from scratch tonight.

Hey, IKEA Swedish meatballs taste pretty good, to me. Of course, I'm not Swedish, so I don't know if they are authentic, or not. I do know it is one thing from IKEA that doesn't come in a flat-pack box and require assembly.
