What did you cook or eat today (March 2025)

ah thanks, I may have been looking in the wrong section in Morrison - by the cheese/ soft cheese?
Hmm I dunno, seems quite random which shop stocks what and where they put it.
I’m certain it’s not random and it’s just based on what sells in that area and what footage they’ve got.
It used to be on the end of an aisle with the cream 🤷‍♀️

Nowadays if I’ve had a look and no joy I’ll find a member of staff and show them a screenshot. For some reason asking on it’s own doesn’t work but showing a photo does.

I made meatballs, from a recipe I've got written down called "Syrian meatballs"
You'll have to wait for the photos, because it's got an interesting tomato sauce which I'll post in this month's challenge...

Tag me in the recipe please!!!!

We had stir fry chicken last night. Really nice for something thrown together.
Tonight is curry night as Isla 15yo granddaughter is here for thr weekend.
I'm picking her up at 4 o clock her choice.
Her parents are camping for the weekend and shes "too old " for that. One of her school friends is having a party tomorrow night and she has to go.

Marriage (or any long term relationship) is a funny ol’ thing. One minute your hearts filled with love at how lovely it is to have someone to make you shepherds pie when you’re feeling under the weather.

And five minutes later you’re contemplating throttling them while arguing about the drains 😂

One of my favorite song lyrics of all time:

There were ways
I should have thrilled you
There were days
I could have killed you
You're the only love
My life has known

Breakfast of champions at around 3:30 pm: I had some teriyaki chicken and chow mein noodles from my Chinese takeout, so I cut up some white onion and cabbage from the frige and sauteed it in avocado oil, then stirred in some of the cut up chicken and noodles from the to-go container with some frozen peas and scrambled egg. Finished with sesame oil and toasted black sesame seeds. Very tasty!

Edited to add: I've often wondered why they call red cabbage and red onion "red" when they are obviously purple?
