I also love carbs and as you probably realised have a bit of a sweet tooth so I need to exercise a bit of self control.
My dietician wants me to eat more (inc carbs/proteins), but without regular blood sugar tests I'd be concerned about next years blood sugar results. I did increase them a bit but I'm wary of having too many. I'm also wary of large amounts of proteins creating work for the kidneys.
For me I'm not bothered about bread or potato's, but pasta / noodles / pizza / cake / sweet stuff ...
