Yeah, I like chicken thighs fried better than legs...even though it is more time consuming. My grandma and my mom were really great at frying chicken, though it was always a whole bird cut up back then. Not even sure if they sold chicken any other way back in the early 70s...

The chicken and waffles thing seems weird to me. I hear they put syrup or honey on them along with the fried chicken? Not my thing.

Adding hot sauce to the syrup makes it quite good.

Corn looks good, California or Florida/Georgia?

Meijer's has fresh corn on sale 8 ears for $1 this week and they also have 80/20 ground beef for $1.99 lb. I like corn grilled the best!

Oh yeah, the chicken looks good too, BTW.

Thanks! I don’t know what state the corn came from, it was just marked “Grown in USA.” - I did it on the grill, but wrapped it in foil.

The chicken is a Tyler Florence recipe.
