Beans started. Home-made baked beans

An improvised lunch yesterday. Venison sausages, cauliflower cheese and chips. I had planned on seafood, but on arriving at the fishmongers I discovered it closed down for 14 days due to a staff member having tested positive. Two neighbouring businesses were also closed - they inter-trade a lot. I last used the fishmonger five days ago - I think this is my closest encounter with covid yet.

Your food is styled like an X$#. Are you trying to tell us something? :scratchhead:

First meal of the day. Hemulen Finnish bread, Croatian Elemental and British tea. The bread is delicious and appears to be glazed with honey. Very light yeast flavor, beautiful nutty flavor from the wholemeal flour. NB even for this modest affair we sit down at the table.

Does this pic look like Elephant man to you?

I loooove the Finnish rye bread, my Finnish ex spoiled me with lots of it. It's delicious, I don't like Dutch rye bread.
