I'm not well known for my curry's, at least, not in a good way. I saw this 'cheat' in Tesco, and remembered that I had read good reviews of it. I don't usually go for packet mixes of anything, but this was superb:

It comes with three pouches - a spice/herb/dried chilli mix to fry off, a marinade for the meat, and the actual curry sauce.

I just added chicken thighs, red onion, green peppers and quartered fresh tomatoes. The final taste needed a bit of tweaking - seasoning and quite a lot of lemon juice, but I was well chuffed with the outcome.

Morning Glory As usual things have conspired to alter our menu plans. Tonight is still sausage etc but because my wife forgot she has a mani and pedi on Saturday morning the Pork pie has been moved to tomorrow and the Chicken curry using rascal generous spice present is Saturday.
As the Pork Pie needs 24 hours to set up and mature, we have just finished it, I made the hot water crust and chopped the pork. The construct is Mrs B's. There is one more jelly stock filling needed. The pictorial story so far.

Thank you, the proof of the pudding. Its the first Pork pie we have made in over two yrs so we will see whats it like when we cut it tomorrow for dinner. I have to get some HP sauce. We also decided the tin is the right size for a mini chrimbo cake. It;s to late to start but we will give it a go this weekend.

I have tried most of this range and not been disappointed yet. I always add some fresh coriander.
