I always do them the same way and they are perfect every time. I think i have posted the recipe before but no harm in repeating. The only change I make is parboil for 10 instead of 15 minutes as some potatoes can be too soft after 15 minutes.
The best roast potato recipe | Jamie Oliver recipe

Thank you for the link. Last week I’ve parboiled potatoes for 5 mins, then seasoned them with fat lard and in the oven for 15 mins (if I remember well). I’ve taken a look at JO too, since I wanted to make them British-style. They turned out wow! 👍
I am not very used to parboil potatoes, I put them directly in the oven or in the pan.
Now I have another chance and it’s so nice.

Last nights dinner, Turkey thigh, Roasties, braised cabbage, cranberry sauce. Pud was pomegranate jewels. The turkey thigh was half of the 2.5kg piece we bought last week. Because they are free range and so big the last time I roasted one it was a bit tough. So I put it in the slow cooker till tender the gave it 30 mins in the oven to crisp the skin. The stock from the slow cooker made delicious rich gravy.
